We are Rallypoint church

It was all a Dream...
— Biggie Smalls

Truth is we rally around stuff all the time and most of the time we don’t even bat an eye at it. Everything may feel “normal” most of the time but maybe you’ve asked yourself “like is this it?” “like there has to be more?” —— we get it. us too. Maybe we’re not supposed to rally around everything? Maybe we’re lost in what we want, not what we need? Maybe You were made to rally around a good God. He wants to meet up with you at RallyPoint!

RallyPoint has a dream of seeing every. single. one. in Siouxland rally around a good God!

How much longer are you going to rally around the same old stuff? How much longer will you avoid your purpose because you think you’re too broken? How much longer will you spend feeling alone? We are a group of people that know the struggle and the grind of life and how without God at the center it can leave you empty. Let’s Rally around a good God that wants every. single. one. back in his family!

Who we are

Living life is a choice. Making a difference in someone else’s isn’t.
— Kid Cudi

What we do:

Rally People Around a Good God!

Why we do it:

All Gas No Brake Grace

We believe in God’s grace covers all of our sins. We are not saved by a professoion of faith. We are not saved by a sinner’s prayer, we are not saved by signing a card or getting baptized, we are saved by a living and active faith — a faith that manifests itself in repentance, obedience and love of God and our neighbor. Salvation is not a transaction; it’s transformation. Apostle Paul says it best we are “New Creations” in Christ. There’s no brakes on that grace!

“What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from sin.”

-Romans 6:1-7

Smoke ‘em If You’ve Got ‘Em

You can’t take ‘em with you. You might as well use ‘em while you’re here. God has designed you with a unique personality, set of talents and gifts, God’s given you resources and a platform to unlock you purpose in life. Go get ‘em tiger! there’s no better feeling than taking and running with what God has given you!

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

- 1 Peter 4:10

Trust the Process

“Jesus himself did not try to convert the two thieves on the cross; he waited until one of them turned to him.” - Dietrich Bonhoeffer

You can belong before you believe at RallyPoint, we don’t want you to just come in and regurgitate whatever the pastor says, we want you to Know Jesus, Know the word of God and know your purpose for life, that doesn’t happen in an instant.. It’s a process.

We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That’s what I’m working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so generously gives me.

— Colossians 1:28-29

Eat with “sinners”

“Jesus Christ lived in the midst of his enemies. At the end all his disciples deserted him. On the Cross he was utterly alone, surrounded by evildoers and mockers. For this cause he had come, to bring peace to the enemies of God. So the Christian, too, belongs not in the seclusion of a cloistered life but in the thick of foes. There is his commission, his work. 'The kingdom is to be in the midst of your enemies. And he who will not suffer this does not want to be of the Kingdom of Christ; he wants to be among friends, to sit among roses and lilies, not with the bad people but the devout people. O you blasphemers and betrayers of Christ! If Christ had done what you are doing who would ever have been spared' (Luther).”

The term “sinners” is ironic. Aren’t we all sinners? YES! but we believe we are the influencers in town, we want to show people (even our enemies) that God is good! So being around the culturally unacceptable, skeptics and the rowdy is where we’ll stay until every. single. one knows Jesus!

“And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.’”

—Mark 2:17

“On and on and on…”

Why stop with just one?

We’re going to multiply, we’re going to continue to start churches in Siouxland because we believe that’s the best way to continue to do the work God has called us to do.

“And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.”

— Luke 14:23

Where we go to do it:

Sunday Morning Experience

celebrate, grieve, laugh, worship, serve with us on Sunday mornings, we want to create a space where you bump into Jesus.

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with a friend.

Join a circle and dive into the word of God and an understanding community that will go through life with you.

Serving our Downtown Community

We don’t want to miss an opportunity to let the city know they we love them. You can say “I Love you” all you want but until you put some skin in the game, they’ll never know. We want to serve wherever we are needed. We may have specific events to participate in or you may find yourself in a circle that loves to serve on their own, we’re cool with it either way!

We Celebrate it when:

When we rally around Jesus

When someone accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior, gets baptized, Prays hard, Digs into the word of God.

When we rally around Purpose

When someone finds their purpose in life, their calling and gives their time, energy and resources to what God has called them to.

When we rally around Freedom

When someone finds freedom through community, we go to God for forgiveness but we’ve got to include people in the healing process. We want people to find freedom from their yesterdays in the context of relationships.

When we rally around our Leadership

When someone starts leading their circle of influence. What is leadership? It’s INFLUENCE. We all have people that their ears perk up when we speak, those people need humble, accountable, responsible people who will lead in life.

When we rally around our Story

When someone finds a way to tell their story, it does two things, it helps them find where God has shown up in their life and it can also help someone else realize they are not alone and that they can find freedom and change in the same way.

Giving to God is an amazing expression of the depth of our love for Him. When we give back to God a portion of what He has blessed us with we acknowledge His love and faithfulness to us. And through our giving we express thankfulness to the Lord for the rich blessing that are ours because of Him.

Thank you for supporting what God is doing at RallyPoint through Online Giving.

Secure online and recurring giving are safe and inexpensive ways to have a greater impact on the work God has called RallyPoint to do in Siouxland.
